Lifeguards in southern France are on alert after spotting a shark just metres from the shoreline of a popular beach - the third such sighting in recent days.

Seaweed yes, even jellyfish, but a three-metre shark is not what you’d expect to find washed up on a beach in Brittany, west France. But we might have to get used to it because sharks could become a more common sight off the coast of north-western France in the future.
